VI COMMANDO

Cpl. Hugh Meehan, formerly of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment, served with No.4 Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, October 1942.

Cpl. Hugh Meehan was Killed In Action (KIA) on 30th November 1942 , aged 27 years.

He was the son of Hugh and Florence Meehan; husband of Winifred M. Meehan, of Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Hugh was laid to rest in memorium on the Medjez-El-Bab Memorial ( Tunisia ) Face 17.
